Procedure for Handling Complaints and Appeals

The journal provides a transparent procedure for handling complaints related to:

  • editorial decisions;
  • the peer-review process;
  • breaches of academic integrity.

Submission of a complaint

Complaints should be sent to the editorial email address: pytlit@chnu.edu.ua

A complaint must include:

  • the name and affiliation of the complainant;
  • the nature of the issue;
  • justification and, where possible, supporting evidence.

Review procedure

  1. Acknowledgement of receipt – within 5 working days;
  2. Initial review by the editorial team;
  3. If necessary – involvement of an independent editor;
  4. Decision and notification of the complainant – within 30 days.

Appeals

An author has the right to appeal an editorial decision. Appeals are considered independently and on the basis of scholarly argumentation.
